The NGK-Locke Polymer Plant (formerly NGK-Locke Polymer Insulators) opened in 1995 as NGK’s sole producer of high quality polymer transmission insulators.  Since opening we have been molding and assembling suspension, line post and station post silicone polymer insulators to stringent quality requirements defined by NGK’s Quality Management ideals.

2020 marks two important milestones for the Polymer Plant.  Besides celebrating our 25th year of operation, in late spring we will ship the 5 Millionth polymer insulator produced in Virginia Beach.  We are proud of this accomplishment and are thankful to our loyal customers located throughout the United States and across the globe.  We look forward to producing polymer insulators and providing our customers exceptional value, consistent quality and timely delivery into the future.
